Our founder Valerie Wise has been practicing health law for over 25 years and is Certified as a Specialist in Health Law by the Law Society of Ontario. We have been consistently recognized for our experience and deep base of knowledge by other lawyers, professional associations, and regulatory colleges.
We have successfully appeared before numerous administrative tribunals, including RHPA college discipline panels, boards of public hospitals, Coroner’s Inquests, the Consent and Capacity Board, the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, and the Health Services Appeal and Review Board.
We also have significant trial and appellate experience and are passionate about helping health professionals and healthcare organizations understand, and protect, their legal rights.
